On most motor vehicles it can also be found in the rear wheel well directly above the tire. Another popular place to find his number is on the front of the engine block and it is mostly quite visible simply by opening the hood. In the very rare occasion that you still cannot find your VIN you should refer to the manufacturer’s manual for some indication of where this number is located. The only other resources available will be the manufacturer or the dealership where the vehicle was purchased.
